Cooper Hawk

I heard a screeching sound and ran to the backyard with my big lens.

Got my best ever shots of a juvenile Cooper Hawk (thanks google lens) and didnt even have to put on pants. Living in Richmond has been a real blessing for seeing wildlife.

Couldn’t have asked for better conditions. Some rain in the background, the sun breaking through at the last minute, and this beautiful hawk sitting on my neighbour’s shed.
