Nature’s incredible

At 2:30 p.m., the rain stopped, but the sky was still overcast. I went out for a walk and captured these interesting, but overall unremarkable images.

I saw this huge flock of snow geese sitting probably 800m - 1km away and right behind them, on a log, this young bald eagle was studying the flock carefully to see who he could pick off.

He almost looks like a shepard, meticulously tending his flock.

He makes his approach.

Can you spot him?

He drives the flock away as a thousand geese screams in horror

Ultimately unsuccessful, but an impressive sight to behold.

The flock lands and huddle together for safety. Ever watchful of eagles and coyotes.
